The national park of Krka was officially registered as such in 1985. and it is the seventh national park of Croatia. It is situated in the area of the county Šibensko-kninska županija and includes surface of 109 km2 along the stream of the river of Krka: 2km downstream from Knin to Skradin and lower stream of the river of Čikola.
